Why Investors Are InterestedAt a time when other banks are reducing FD rates or discontinuing special deposit products, SBI’s move offers a safe and lucrative fixed-income option. The scheme has become especially popular with senior citizens, who benefit from a 0.50% interest premium.
SBI’s interest rates continue to remain among the most competitive in the Indian banking sector, especially considering the risk-free nature of fixed deposits with a public sector bank.
