“Infinite amount of money spent on players”- Fans not surprised after Dodgers becomes first MLB team with 25 wins

While the Los Angeles Dodgers performed brilliantly against the Miami Marlins, ensuring the victory in their favor, the Dodgers are now the first team with 25 wins. Fans, however, were quick enough to question the team, where they said, since there is infinite amount of money being spent on players, it is bound to happen that they will perform well.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are doing pretty great, yet again, even though their seven-game winning streak ended on Sunday. The Dodgers had, in most of those games, scored several runs.



While one of their star players, Tommy Edman, is hurt with an ankle injury. But now, fans will get to see new player Hyeseong Kim play and show his skills in big games. The Dodgers are now the first MLB team with 25 wins . They scored a solid 10-1 in Miami against Miami Marlins.

After the Los Angeles Dodgers performed brilliantly, while fans celebrated, a few of them also questioned claiming it is a team which has spent a lot of money on their players, and that they are bound to perform well.

“First to 25, and they’re running the league like it’s spring training with stakes. Who’s keeping up? Spoiler: not many.”

While another fan claimed:


“This is expected when you can spend an infinite amount of money on players.”

“With that payroll…I would hope so!!”

Another fan called for a salary cap.


Another fan took a more analytical stance and said:


“They also lost to one of the worst teams in baseball yesterday, 2 starting position players are on the IL, 1 maybe 2 starting pitchers are proven reliable, bull pen has injuries and inconsistencies so let’s have this discussion when they are first to ninety. Go Blue.”

“Wow MLB are you telling me the super team that spent twenty billion dollars on their roster is the best team in baseball? I for one am shocked, certainly I didn’t see this coming and I cannot possibly imagine anyone else having seen this coming either.”
