To celebrate Sir James Dyson's 78th birthday on Friday (May 2), his cheeky rivals at Samsung delivered their latest model to his doorstep.
Wrapped in a giant blue bow and accompanied by balloons it arrived in style at the Dyson HQ in Malmsebury, Wiltshire.
With cameras rolling, YouTuber Zac Alsop and his delivery crew arrived to hand over the to Sir James, inventor of the original bagless vacuum cleaner.
Samsung's team say their stick vacuum cleaner is the most powerful in the world. And their stunt was just pure, clean fun.
"This campaign was our way of putting that superiority to the test, and having a bit of fun while we're at it," said Tanya Weller, Marketing Director for Digital Appliances, Samsung Electronics UK&I.
To keep the celebration going, Samsung is giving away over £90,000 worth of vacuums at its Samsung KX store in Coal Drops Yard, London.
In honour of each of Sir James's 78 years, the first 78 people to arrive with a birthday card for him will receive a Samsung Bespoke Jet™ AI, worth £1,200, completely free of charge.
All you need to do to get one is to bring a birthday card for Sir James and join the queue outside Samsung KX on Saturday 3 May.
