Meghan Markle, 44, and Prince Harry, 41, attended Kris Jenner's lavish 70th birthday party on Saturday evening, which was held at Jeff Bezos's mansion in Beverly Hills. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were pictured at the extravagant James Bond-themed event on Kim Kardashian and Kris's Instagram account, before they were quietly removed by Tuesday night.
One picture showed Harry and Meghan dancing with Kris, as the Duchess, who was wearing a sleek all-black outfit, had her hand on the Kardashian matriarch's back. In another image, Meghan is posing with Kim, who opted for a racer-necked, purple, figure-hugging dress, while Harry can be seen chatting to someone in the background, wearing his tuxedo.
Fans now believe they have "exposed" the real reason all traces of the couple attending the star-studded party have been removed from Kim and Kris' Instagram accounts.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan claimed: "I'm officially calling it. The Kardashians are cancelling the Markles. There will be no more support for Megan & Harry from the Kardashians."
A second alleged: "Meghan Markle lured her husband away because she wants to live a 'private life' yet desperately tries to hang out with A-listers in Hollywood for clout. It's so embarrassing that even Kim Kardashian deleted this photo, not wanting to be associated with her."
Meanwhile, a third penned: "Meghan & Harry are supposed to be royalty, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Yet, both Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian post their event photos on IG, and not a single one includes them. That's how irrelevant they've become in Hollywood circles."
However, another theory shared by a fan read: "Those photos were deleted upon request. The Kardashians broke protocol in publishing them in the first place." Someone else added: "I'm also thinking that the [Sussexes] asked them to remove their photos for various reasons."
Another claimed: "They were just bad photos of them, so H&M asked for them to be taken down. I don't believe in any big conspiracy."
No official reason has been provided for why Harry and Meghan's image was excluded from the final version of Kim's social media post.
Kim and the Sussexes' representatives have been contacted by Express.co.uk for comment.
It comes days after Harry and Meghan were criticised for attending the Hollywood party on Remembrance Day weekend, with the latter facing backlash for not wearing a poppy at the event. Harry, however, did pin a poppy to his suit at the party.
