IBPS RRB eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

• Office Assistant (Multipurpose)- Graduation from a recognized University.
• Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)- Graduation from a recognized University.
• Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer) – Graduation degree or Post Graduation with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University.
• Officer Scale-II (Information Technology Officer)- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science or Information Technology with minimum 50% marks.
• Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant) – Must have cleared CA exam from ICAI India and should have one year experience as a CA.
• Officer Scale-II (Law Officer)- Must have completed Graduation in Law with minimum 50% marks.
• Officer Scale-II (Treasurer) - Candidates with CA or MBA degree can apply. Apart from this, 2 years of experience is also required.
• Officer Scale II (Marketing Officer) – MBBS in marketing trade with 2 years’ experience.
• Officer Scale II (Agriculture Officer) – Must have degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal, Veterinary Science, Engineering or Physiculture.
• Officer Scale III (Senior Manager) - Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks and experience is required. Candidates are advised to check the detailed information of post wise educational qualification and experience in the notification.

IBPS RRB Age Limit: Age Limit

• Office Assistant: 18 years to 28 years
• Officer Scale – I: 18 years to 30 years
• Officer Scale – II: 21 years to 32 years
• Officer Scale – III: 21 years to 40 years

Reserved category candidates will be given maximum age limit relaxation as per IBPS RRB Recruitment 2025 rules.

Application Fees

To apply for Officer Scale (I, II, III) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts, candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 850, while candidates from reserved categories (SC, ST, PWD) have to pay a fee of Rs 175. The fee can be deposited in online mode only.

Selection Process

Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of several stages of examination. First there will be Pre-Exam Training (PET) which can be held in November 2025. The prelims exam will be held in November or December 2025, in which those who qualify will be able to appear in the Mains exam (December 2025- February 2026). Candidates who qualify in the Mains will be shortlisted for the interview round. For this, they will be called for document verification and medical test.
