Shock moment police officer steals woman's underwear in home search caught on camera

This is the shocking moment a police officer stole a woman's underwear during a home search.

Hertfordshire Policeofficer Marcin Zielinski, 47, has since been jailed for the theft during a Section 32 search of a property in September 2024. The officer searched the home when he stole the underwear with footage of the incident being captured by a Ring camera.

The officer, from St Albans, admitted to one charge of theft and a charge of corrupt and improper exercise of police powers and privileges. The cop's actions were condemned by senior officers as a "fundamental betrayal of the public".

Zielinski resigned from the force while he was under investigation in November last year. He was jailed for four months at Cambridge Crown Court on Monday. A woman at the home was arrested in connection with an unrelated matter but was released with no further action being taken.

"Zielinski has let down the public of Hertfordshire, the police service as a whole and his former colleagues, who act with professionalism and integrity," said Hertfordshire Constabulary Assistant Chief Constable Genna Telfer.

"His criminal behaviour damages the reputation of policing and represents a fundamental betrayal of the public and the values for which the police service stands."

Zielinski has been barred from working in the police.

It comes after aformer police officer in Nashville was arrested for groping an adult star's beasts during a mock traffic stop. Sean Herman pleaded no contest to felony official misconduct at the city's criminal court on Thursday.

He was arrested in 2024 and was sentenced to a year of supervised probation. He was fired from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department after detectives discovered Herman had been the officer wearing his uniform in the X-rated clip.

While the officer could not be seen from the chest up, a part of his police patch on his arm was briefly seen as he reached to touch the OnlyFans star's breasts that in turn revealed he was a Nashville policeman.

A department spokesperson said at the time: "That was one of the most outrageous, disrespectful acts that a person here could do and, by disrespectful, I mean to all the MNPD employees and this agency."

Herman was indefinitely suspended from having certification to be a law enforcement officer in Tennessee in August 2024.
