UEFA have confirmed the full schedule for the league phase of the 2025-26 Champions League. No fewer than six English clubs are involved in this year's competition and they each discovered their eight opponents - with four games at home and four away - during the draw in Monaco on Thursday.
Headlining the first round of matches is Newcastle's clash with Barcelona, taking place at St James' Park on Thursday, September 18. The date for Trent Alexander-Arnold's return to Anfield has also been announced, with Liverpool due to host Real Madrid on Tuesday, November 4.
Arsenal, meanwhile, kick-off their campaign away to Athletic Bilbao. Manchester City will play Napoli at the Etihad Stadium in their first game, welcoming back Kevin De Bruyne just a few months after his departure.
Chelsea travel to face Bayern Munich in their opening fixture while Tottenham start at home to Villarreal. This season's league phase culminates in 19 matches being played on Wednesday, January 28, all kicking off at 8pm UK time.
