But it wasn't long before eagle-eyed viewers took to , pointing out that the episode seemed to be advertised as new when it had actually aired last year, reports .
One puzzled viewer tweeted: "This episode of Celebrity Bake Off is a repeat despite it saying it's a new one and I'm confused."

Another frustrated fan posted: "Why are channel 4 advertising this as new exactly? It's clearly not. It's from last year."
Questions flew as someone else pondered: "Is this celebrity bake-off for SU2C a repeat or am I just getting deja vu?" To which another added: "It's definitely not you ... Prue is there still!! I remember this episode [sic]".
The confusion continued with another tweet, which read: "I know so why is it scheduled as NEW."
Nevertheless, some fans were overjoyed to relive the episode, expressing delight at seeing their favourite celebrities in the tent again.
An excited fan declared: "They're repeating Jodie's Bake Off appearance on Channel 4!!!!" and another exclaimed: "Paloma Faith on #GBBO!!!!!!"
Amidst the repeat drama, during the episode itself, viewers were reminded of the moment when former star Jodie Whittaker experienced a mishap, her glass bowl shattering during her mixing frenzy.
When speaking with host Paul Hollywood amidst the chaos, she commented: "I think I went too aggressive at the top with my energy. I've chilled out now."
Before her appearance on the charity edition of the show, Jodie expressed nerves about showing her true self on TV. In a conversation with Radio Times, she divulged: "Apart from interviews, I've never done anything where I'm myself on something.

"This is what makes me nervous, that you are yourself with a microphone and cameras on you. I have no control over that edit."
While Jodie endeared herself to the audience when the show first aired in 2024, it was Made in Chelsea's Spencer Matthews who ultimately bagged the title of star baker.
Upon triumphing, Spencer said gleefully: "We did it! We did it, it feels great. I didn't actually think I was going to win coming into this, so.
"It hasn't all sunk in, it's amazing, very proud to of been a part of it. Yeah, obviously this is the cherry on top."
