Rajasthan Study Abroad Scheme 2025: A Golden Opportunity for Meritorious Girls
The Rajasthan government has launched a remarkable Overseas Education Scholarship Scheme to empower meritorious girls from government schools. Under this initiative, top-performing female students of the Rajasthan Board (RBSE) will get the opportunity to pursue undergraduate studies abroad with full financial support.
This scheme is a major step by the state towards promoting higher education and global exposure for girls, especially those from modest backgrounds. By supporting their foreign education dreams, the government aims to shape globally competent professionals who can represent Rajasthan on international platforms.
Who Can Apply for the Rajasthan Foreign Education Scholarship?The scheme is exclusively for girls who studied in government schools and secured a place among the top three ranks in the Class 10 RBSE state merit list.
Only these top three meritorious students will be selected each year to pursue undergraduate education abroad for up to four years. If any selected student or her guardian opts out, the next eligible student on the merit list will be offered the opportunity.
Eligibility Summary:

Must be a female student of a government school under the Rajasthan Board.

Should have secured Top 3 rank in the Class 10 state-level merit list.

Must hold valid age, domicile, and passport documents.
Every year, the Rajasthan Board forwards the names of the top six meritorious girls to the Directorate of Education. Out of these, the top three will be selected for the overseas scholarship.
To help these students prepare for international admissions, the state government also provides special SAT coaching and other essential facilities in Jaipur.
Free SAT Coaching and Hostel FacilitiesSAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is a mandatory exam for admission to many foreign universities. Recognizing this, the Rajasthan government will arrange SAT preparation classes in Jaipur for the selected students.

Students can enroll in any Jaipur-based school from Class 11 to begin their SAT preparation.

The government will provide residential facilities at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur.

Students may also choose to stay independently if they prefer.
This scheme offers comprehensive financial coverage, ensuring that deserving students face no monetary barriers in pursuing education abroad.
Here’s what the government covers under the plan:

₹30,000 for SAT coaching.

₹50,000 for SAT registration and exam fees.

₹25,000 towards university application and admission charges.

Up to ₹10 lakh per year for tuition fees, accommodation, and other living expenses.

Economy class airfare once a year to visit parents during the study period.
The government will directly handle payments to ensure transparency and convenience for the students.
How to Apply for the Rajasthan Study Abroad SchemeThe application process for this scheme is offline. Interested and eligible students need to:

Fill in all the required details accurately.
Submit the completed form to the District Education Officer (DEO) office.
